For more than 30 years, Coast Shelter’s Community Centre has provided free meals, as well as personal, financial, legal and health support and care for the most vulnerable people in our community.
Through the generous support of over 200 volunteers, and corporate and financial donors, the Community Centre kitchen prepares and serves thousands of meals every year.
The service is an inclusive and safe meeting place for all people when they need help the most.

The No Interest Loans Scheme provides access to loans of up to $1500 to help pay for household expenses and household items without having to worry about fees and interest. Eligibility includes having a Health Care or Pension Card, earning less than $45,000, and having the capacity to repay the loan.

Coast Shelter social enterprise programs provide access to paid work experience and on-the-job training for unemployed people to help them develop the necessary skills and attitude to find and keep a job. Our program acts as a steppingstone to sustainable employment and provides participants with professional workplace supervision, mentoring and access to accredited training. We provide quality work at competitive prices, comply with workplace health and safety, complete work to your specifications and provide a free solution to local skills shortages for the Central Coast business community.

LOVE BiTES is a respectful relationships education program for students aged 11 to 17 years. Coast Shelter holds lead agency responsibility for LOVE BiTES on the NSW Central Coast, meaning we run the Respectful Relationship Education Program in schools across the region.
