Coast Shelter To Open New Community Centre in Wyong

Coast Shelter opens new Community Centre in Wyong NSW

http://coastshelter.org.au/volunteer-with-us/Coast Shelter, leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing assistance and support to individuals experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, is delighted to announce the opening of its new Community Centre in Wyong.

With an opening scheduled for July, the much-anticipated facility will serve as a vital hub for community engagement and provide essential services and a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for people in need.

The opening of the Coast Shelter Wyong Community Centre marks a significant milestone in the organisation’s ongoing commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals and families on the Central Coast.

Located in the centre of Wyong, the new Community Centre will offer a range of services including hot meals, emergency accommodation and transitional housing assistance, social work support, domestic violence support and counselling, mental health and drug and alcohol counselling, and life skills training and workshops.

Coast Shelter CEO, Michael Starr, expressed his enthusiasm for the new Community Centre, stating, “We are thrilled to be opening the doors of our new facility in Wyong. This Community Centre represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide comprehensive support and resources to those in need and will serve as a much-needed hub on the Northern end of our Central Coast community.”

Coast Shelter invites any community member who is interested in becoming a volunteer at the new Community Centre to contact them on 4325 3540 or visit their website at https://coastshelter.org.au/volunteer-with-us/.
