This Friday the 8th April, Coast Shelter is hosting a Youth Week event with free music and entertainment at the Peninsula Recreation Precinct (near Umina Skate Park) from 4 – 8pm.
Come and join us for a fun-filled event with free food, a music lineup featuring headliner Elaskia and amazing local artists such as Emerald Priestman, Minet and Camille, Brandon Duff & Micah and Brandon; a variety of youth services to meet and greet, Coast Shelter’s social enterprise coffee cart CSespresso, and major prizes to be won!
CEO Michael Starr said “Youth Week takes on special meaning this year as we’re coming off the back of lock downs and young people have been unable to socialise with friends and enjoy getting together so come on down, grab a bite to eat and listen to some fantastic local artists”.
Erin Jacob, Love Bites coordinator, said “Local primary and high schools are encouraged to get involved, it’s the first night of the school holidays and we want to have some fun while engaging with local young people and their families”.
Coast Shelter is committed to providing services and programs that will continue to improve the wellbeing of local young people.
